Morning brings with it a peace unparalleled. Especially if you actually get up while it is still morning. Some days I feel I have gotten off to a bad start and find myself wishing I could begin again! Haven't tried crawling back into bed yet and doing a re-boot, but that is a thought. Every morning are new possibilities for the day. As the old hymn says, "Morning by morning new mercies I see".
Ever wonder why the peacefulness of a morning is different than the rest of the day? My take on it is nothing has yet been created as far as your life that day. All is usually quiet in the house, and outside birds are just barely starting to sing, there are no sounds of traffic, or someone's lawn mower or weed eater. It is still and fresh with no mistakes yet made, no worries, and no one but you and your Creator. I challenge you to get up earlier and savor your morning as a time for you, for planning and reflection, and just being. When I had young children, including twin babies- I had to get up early just to have some sanity! If you want something bad enough you figure out how. Right?
If today has been one of those days, take a deep breath and let it go- along with all of what troubles you. Today is all we have, most likely a new morning awaits you tomorrow with hope, ideas, insights, and answers, and if you look for it- and create it- joy.
